Everything went according to plan when first ranked Sibiu (18-5) defeated on the road 4th placed Craiova (11-12) 75-59 on Monday. The game without a history. Sibiu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sibiu outrebounded Craiova 42-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import power forward Randal Falker (201-85, college: SIU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Sibiu players scored in double figures. Sibiu's coach Dan Fleseriu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Montenegrin Goran Gajovic (199-88, agency: 011 Sports) answered with 14 points and 9 rebounds and international Amedeo Casale (194-97) added 9 points in the effort for Craiova. Sibiu maintains first place with 18-5 record. Craiova lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 12 games lost. Sibiu will face league's second-placed Cluj Napoca at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Craiova will play against Timisoara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
