The game in Vienna supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Dukes (19-13) played at the court of 8th ranked Timberwolves (12-20). Dukes smashed Timberwolves 90-68. The game was mostly controlled by Dukes. Timberwolves was better in second period 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dukes dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Timberwolves' 24. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American-Italian swingman Joe Scott (192-88, college: St.Thomas) responded with 18 points and 5 assists and Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Timberwolves' coach Hubert Schmidt gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Dukes maintains fourth position with 19-13 record. Newly promoted Timberwolves keep the eighth place with 20 games lost. Dukes will play against league's second-placed Gmunden Swans at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Timberwolves will play against Gunners Oberwart (#3) and hope to get back on the winning track.
