A very interesting game took place in Bayreuth. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 11th ranked BBC Bayreuth (12-14) to fourteenth ranked BG Goettingen (8-18) 78-75 on Saturday evening. It was a good game for American point guard Michael Stockton (185-89, college: Westminster, UT) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 assists. The former international guard Dominic Lockhart (198-94) contributed with 11 points for the winners. American Adonis Thomas (201-93, college: Memphis) answered with 17 points and the other American import Nikolas Raivio (193-86, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for BBC Bayreuth. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. BG Goettingen maintains fourteenth place with 8-18 record. BBC Bayreuth lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. BG Goettingen's next round opponent will be Mitteldeutscher BC (#16) in Weissenfels.
