Regular Season Round 28: Bad Aibling - Treuchtlingen 76-100

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Treuchtlingen (17-8) smashed on the road 13th ranked Bad Aibling (7-18) 100-76 on Saturday. Bad Aibling was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Stefan Schmoll (196-89) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and guard Claudio Huhn (185-89) who added 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Johannes Wienet responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and guard Simon Bradaric scored 14 points and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Treuchtlingen have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in South-East, which they share with Leitershofen and TSV Troester. Newly promoted Bad Aibling keeps the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. Treuchtlingen will face Jena II (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bad Aibling will play against Vilsbiburg and hope to win that game.
