Semi-Finals Game 3: AEK Larnaca - Etha 85-68

AEK topped Etha to sweep the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by AEK Larnaca. Etha was better in second period 27-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Etha 42-22 including a 31-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. AEK Larnaca players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a quality performance for American point guard Tyreek Duren (183-91, college: La Salle) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Belarusian-Russian forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84) accounted for 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Five AEK Larnaca players scored in double figures. American guard Robert Davis-III (185, college: JCSU) came up with 22 points and the other American import Chris Flemmings (197-94, college: UNCW) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Etha in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
