Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked WSG Koenigs (13-14) were defeated on the road by fourth ranked Stade (17-10) 75-66 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish power forward Oscar Andres (200-87) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Janis Stielow (193-95) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Thomas Schoeps (188-89, college: Odessa JC) responded with 17 points and American guard Desmond Medder (188, college: Pikeville) scored 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). WSG Koenigs' coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Stade maintains fourth position in North with 17-10 record. Loser WSG Koenigs keep the seventh place with 14 games lost. Stade will face Neustadt TSV (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. WSG Koenigs will play against ALBA-2 (#15) and hope to win that game.
