Regular Season Round 28: Dorsten - Dortmund 112-66

Date: April 6, 2019
Very expected game when 12th ranked Dortmund (6-20) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Dorsten (19-7) 112-66 on Saturday. Dorsten outrebounded Dortmund 51-28 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 56.3 percentage. Dorsten looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Dortmund's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jonas Peters (197-97) who helped to win the game recording 31 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and center Arbnor Voca (203-99) who added 15 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five Dorsten players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Felix Fuhrmann (175-90) responded with 19 points and 7 assists and American guard Aaron Bowser (190-84, college: Ariz.Christian) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dorsten have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in West, which they share with Hagen BG and Herford. Newly promoted Dortmund keeps the twelfth position with 20 games lost.
