Very predictable result when first ranked Speyer (25-1) smashed at home 9th ranked Stuttgart (10-16) 98-63 on Saturday. Speyer forced 22 Stuttgart turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Tim Schwartz (197-87) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and American guard DJ Woodmore (190-92, college: Va.Wesleyan) who added 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Speyer players scored in double figures. Speyer's coach Carl Mbassa felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Montenegrin forward Milos Mandic (199-97) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds.
