We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Muenchen OSB (11-13) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Bamberg (12-13) 84-75 on Sunday. Bamberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Robert Ferguson (203-85, college: St.Joseph's) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Kevin Jefferson (175-96) who added 20 points and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and William Bessoir (203-99) scored 21 points. Four Muenchen OSB players scored in double figures. Bamberg moved-up to seventh place in South-East, which they share with Vilsbiburg. Loser Muenchen OSB dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. Bamberg will face Goldbach (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Muenchen OSB will play against Schwabing (#6) and hope to win that game.
