No shocking result in a game in Kedainiai where first ranked Zalgiris (26-3) smashed bottom-ranked Nevezis (4-25) 102-70 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Zalgiris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Nevezis' 42. Zalgiris looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Defending champion maintains first place with 26-3 record. Nevezis lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Zalgiris will face league's second-placed Neptunas in Klaipeda in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nevezis will play on the road against Lietkabelis (#4) in Panevezys and hope to win that game.
