The game between Top Four teams took place in Rivne. Third ranked host Rivne-OSHVSM (14-6) smashed 4th ranked KDPU (9-11) 90-60. The game without a history. Rivne-OSHVSM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to KDPU's 38 and made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game, while KDPU only scored one point from the stripe. Rivne-OSHVSM forced 23 KDPU turnovers and outrebounded them 33-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The winners were led by Illia Niemtsu (201-98, college: Vincennes Univ., agency: Dynamics Global Management) who scored that evening 24 points and swingman Nazar Kisilchuk (195-97) supported him with 17 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Four Rivne-OSHVSM players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 7 rebounds by power forward Vladyslav Frolov (202-98) did not help to save the game for KDPU. Guard Vladyslav Unhuryan (190-95) added 14 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rivne-OSHVSM maintains third position with 14-6 record having just 32 point less than leader Prometey. Newly promoted KDPU dropped to the fifth place with 11 games lost. Rivne-OSHVSM will play against Niko-Basket (#6) in Mykolaiv in the next round. KDPU will play on the road against Khimik-2 in Yuzhny and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
