An interesting game for ALBA Berlin (22-5) which hosted in Berlin 4th placed SC Rasta Vechta (21-8). Third ranked ALBA Berlin had an easy win 104-67. ALBA Berlin dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to SC Rasta Vechta's 24. ALBA Berlin forced 23 SC Rasta Vechta turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Lithuanian Rokas Giedraitis (201-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ALBA Berlin have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain third place with 22-5 record having seven points less than leader B.Muenchen. Newly promoted SC Rasta Vechta keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. ALBA Berlin are looking forward to face league's leader Bayern Muenchen at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SC Rasta Vechta will play against s Oliver Baskets in Wuerzburg and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
