The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Bursaspor (24-4) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourteenth ranked Ankara D.S.I. (9-19) 87-74. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Bursaspor. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Joshua Heath (180-94, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Kaan Sariaslan (193-97) contributed with 23 points and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Can Ozcan (202-89) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for Bursaspor. Four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. Bursaspor's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ankara D.S.I. maintains fourteenth position with 9-19 record. Bursaspor at the other side still keeps top place with four games lost. Ankara D.S.I. are looking forward to face higher ranked Bandirma Kir. (#12) in Balikesir in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bursaspor will play on the road against the league's second-placed Karesi Spor (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
