We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tarsus where one of their biggest challengers TAC NEF (7-9) was defeated by fifth ranked Besiktas (9-9) 85-80. Besiktas players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Guard Can Turgut (198-0) notched 21 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and Ege Sun (-0) supported him with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Besiktas' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 31 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals by Faik Kasikci (-0) did not help to save the game for TAC NEF. Murat Guzelocak (-1) added 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Besiktas and four TAC NEF players scored in double figures. Besiktas maintains fifth position with 9-9 record.
