No shocking result in a game in Klaipeda where second ranked Neptunas (26-7) defeated 6th ranked Juventus (14-20) 101-87. The game was mostly controlled by Neptunas. Juventus was better in second period 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Neptunas shot 61.1 percent from the field and made 24-of-28 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Neptunas outrebounded Juventus 35-21 including a 25-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Neptunas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Juventus helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International power forward Gytis Masiulis (206-98) nailed 21 points and 7 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side and the former international forward Deividas Gailius (200-88, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Neptunas. They maintain second place with 26-7 record behind leader Zalgiris. Juventus at the other side keeps the sixth position with 20 games lost.
