The game between Top Four teams took place in Kamianske. First ranked host Prometey (22-2) smashed 4th ranked Khimik-2 (11-12) 89-57. The game without a history. Prometey led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Khimik-2's 30. They outrebounded Khimik-2 47-19 including a 33-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Prometey players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Khimik-2's players. The winners were led by Maks-Adam Konate (202-91) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists and the former international center Sergiy Zagreba (214-94) supported him with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Prometey players scored in double figures. Even 13 points by guard Dmytro Holovchyk (187-0) did not help to save the game for Khimik-2. Point guard Oleksandr Kovliar (180-2) added 8 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Prometey have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Prometey maintains first position with 22-2 record. Khimik-2 at the other side keeps the fourth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with KDPU. Prometey will play against Rivne-OSHVSM (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Khimik-2 will play against Mariupol and hopes to get back on the winning track.
