A very interesting game took place in Ankara. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 12th ranked Bandirma Kir. (11-18) to fourteenth ranked Ankara D.S.I. (10-19) 88-85 on Saturday evening. American center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Kaan Sariaslan (193-97) contributed with 18 points and 6 assists for the winners. Canadian guard Devoe Joseph (193-90, college: Oregon, agency: Interperformances) answered with 25 points and 5 assists and power forward Alperen Sengun (205-2) added 16 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Bandirma Kir.Four Ankara D.S.I. and five Bandirma Kir. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Ankara D.S.I. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourteenth place with 10-19 record. Bandirma Kir. at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Ankara D.S.I.'s next round opponent will be league's second-placed Karesi Spor at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
