There was an upset in Bonn where higher ranked Telekom Baskets (15-14) were defeated by thirteenth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (13-17) 71-60 on Sunday. Telekom Baskets were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Quantez Robertson (188-84, college: Auburn, agency: Interperformances) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Tyler Larson (191-91, college: S.Dakota) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Charles Jackson (208-93, college: Tenn Tech) with 13 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Cuban swingman Yorman-Polas Bartolo (191-85) scored 13 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Deutsche Bank Skyliners moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Giessen 46ers.
