Sixteenth-ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (8-24) used its home court advantage to challenge twelfth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (15-17). The visitors from Frankfurt managed to secure only two-point victory 80-78. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. American players dominated the game. Four Eisbaeren Bremerhaven players scored in double figures. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Deutsche Bank Skyliners have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Braunschweig. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 24 games lost. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will play against Braunschweig (#11) on the road in the next round. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play against ALBA Berlin (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
