A very close game took place in Duzce between Final Spor and Duzce Belediye. Eleventh ranked Final Spor (13-17) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Duzce Belediye (19-11). Final Spor managed to escape with a 1-point win 84-83 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. Final Spor outrebounded Duzce Belediye 40-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor) scored 30 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Lennard Freeman (203-95, college: NC State) chipped in 20 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Final Spor's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American forward Steve Taylor-Jr (206-93, college: Toledo) with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists and guard Eray Aydogan (185-0) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Four Duzce Belediye players scored in double figures. Final Spor moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Manisa. Loser Duzce Belediye keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost.
