There was no surprise when 10th ranked Manisa (13-17) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Yeni Mamak (17-13) 83-78. Yeni Mamak players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Alican Guney (194-89, agency: 1x1 Sports) notched 10 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and Erkan Yilmaz (198-86) supported him with 7 points and 11 rebounds. Yeni Mamak's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by American guard Derrick Marks (190-93, college: Boise St.) did not help to save the game for Manisa. Ahmet Tunali (203-92) added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Yeni Mamak moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Konyaspor. Manisa lost sixth consecutive game. Manisa at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost.
