Second ranked Ternopil-TNEU (18-8) crushed at home 5th ranked KDPU (12-13) by 30 points 105-75, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of KDPU. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 58-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Ternopil-TNEU dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to KDPU's 36. They outrebounded KDPU 57-14 including a 21-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ternopil-TNEU looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Mykyta Naiko (197-92) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Five Ternopil-TNEU and four KDPU players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Ternopil-TNEU maintains second position with 18-8 record having just 42 point less than leader Prometey. KDPU at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. Ternopil-TNEU will meet league's leader Prometey in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KDPU will play against Rivne-OSHVSM (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
