LKL top team - Zalgiris (32-3) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Dzukija (12-23) in Kaunas 100-68. The game without a history. Zalgiris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Zalgiris looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by the former international Paulius Jankunas (205-84) who scored that evening 14 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Lukas Uleckas (199-99) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even 21 points and 9 rebounds by Turkish forward Kerem Kanter (208-95, college: Xavier) did not help to save the game for Dzukija. Mindaugas Susinskas (204-95) added 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zalgiris have an impressive 12-game winning streak.
