Regular Season Round 1: Piraten - Mustangs 94-102

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Worthersee Piraten (0-1) in Klagenfurt. Hosts were defeated by Mustangs (1-0) 102-94. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Worthersee Piraten won third quarter 23-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mustangs made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Five Mustangs and four Worthersee Piraten players scored in double figures. Mustangs will play against Rocks (#5) in Mattersburg in the next round. Worthersee Piraten will play at home against Nord Dragonz (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
