Regular Season Round 3: Saarlouis/Dillingen - Ulm BBU 01 75-74

There was no surprise when BBU 01 Ulm (1-3) was edged on the road by Saarlouis/Dillingen (3-1) 75-74 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American guard Ricky Easterling (189-83, college: Bridgewater) who scored 37 points (!!!). Guard Nii Bergmann (188-98) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American guard Zachary Ensminger (195-1) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Moritz Krimmer (202-0) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively. BBU 01 Ulm's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Saarlouis/Dillingen will face HAKRO Merlins II (#9) in Crailsheim in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BBU 01 Ulm will play at home against Stuttgart and hope to win that game.
