Regular Season Round 3: Jena 2 - Schwabing 74-69

Not a big story in a game when Schwabing (1-2) was defeated on the road by Jena II (3-2) 74-69 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Jena II forced 23 Schwabing turnovers. The best player for the winners was American Vincent Garrett (198-91, college: Green Bay) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Dominik Shusel (200-99) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Bent Leuchten (208-2) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds and Tristan Da-Silva (202-1) added 11 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Jena II will face Bad Aibling (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Schwabing will play against Muenchen OSB and hope to win that game.
