Regular Season Round 4: Langenhagen - Eimsbuetteler 74-77

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Langenhagen (2-2) was edged at home by third ranked ETV (4-1) 77-74 on Sunday. ETV forced 19 Langenhagen turnovers. It was a very good performance for American guard Tyseem Lyles (188, college: Mercy) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 6 steals. Lithuanian guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. ETV's coach Sukran Gencay used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) replied with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Arthur Zaletskiy (183-94) added 17 points and 5 assists in the effort for Langenhagen. Four Langenhagen players scored in double figures. ETV keeps a position of North leader, which they share with Aschersleben and Neustadt TSV. Loser Langenhagen dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. ETV will face Weser Baskets (#13) in Neustadt in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Langenhagen will play at home against Neustadt TSV (#3) and hope to win that game.
