Regular Season Round 4: Bremerhaven - Trier 104-84

ProA top team - Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Gladiators (2-2) 104-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gladiators. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Kasey Hill (185-93, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 assists and the other American import guard Rohndell Goodwin (195-91, college: Chaminade) who added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Till Gloger (204-93, college: Maine) responded with 23 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and American guard Jordan Geist (188-97, college: Missouri) scored 14 points. Five Eisbaeren Bremerhaven and four Gladiators players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Heidelberg and Jena. Loser Gladiators dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will face league's second-placed MLP Academics Heidelberg on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gladiators will play against Phoenix Hagen (#14) and hope to win that game.
