Regular Season Round 3: SISU - Vaerlose 65-59

The game with biggest result difference took place in Copenhagen. Local SISU (2-2) beat Vaerlose (0-3) 65-59. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 12-9. But Vaerlose won second period 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for guard Taylor Gleason (173-95, college: Oakland) who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Anna-Clara Mogensen (175-97) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Gleason is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Swingman Frida Formann (179-1) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and center Julianna Okosun (194-1) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Vaerlose. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SISU will play against Amager in Kastrup in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vaerlose will play at home against Horsholm (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
