Konyaspor used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Bursa 89-67 on Saturday night. Konyaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Quite impressive performance for the former international forward Osman Sirin (207-90, college: Charlotte) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Mitchell Wilbekin (188-94, college: Wake Forest) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four Konyaspor players scored in double figures. American forward Gary Johnson (198-88, college: Texas) answered with 24 points and 9 rebounds and forward Can Terzioglu (196-86) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Gemlik. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Konyaspor will face Akhisar Bld (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gemlik will play against Balikesir and hope to win that game.
