We should not miss anothera road victory of Merkezefendi (1-0) who crushed Samsun (0-1) by 20 points 72-52. American guard Davonte Lacy (193-93, college: WSU) fired 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international Umit Sonkol (206-82) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Merkezefendi players scored in double figures. Merkezefendi's coach Sahin Atesdagli allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Darian Townes (208-84, college: Arkansas) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and guard Cagdas Erdogan (188-88) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Merkezefendi's next round opponent will be Duzce Belediye (#13) at home which should be another easy win for them. Samsun will play against Bornova Bld and hope to win that game.
