We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fourth ranked Dorsten (5-3) edged on the road 3rd placed Hertener Loewen (5-3) 66-65 on Saturday. American guard Adam Pickett (185-94, college: Winthrop) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and center Wilhelm Koehler (206-88) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Felix Fuhrmann (174-90) responded with 19 points and 5 assists and Bosnian Semir Albinovic (201-91) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Hertener Loewen's coach Cedric Huesken rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Dorsten.
