Regular Season Round 3: Bandirma - Anadolu Efes 84-66

Very important is a road loss of Anadolu Efes (2-1) against Bandirma (2-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Anadolu Efes was defeated by Bandirma in Balikesir 84-66. It was a great evening for American forward Ian Hummer (201-90, college: Princeton) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. Sehmus Hazer (190-99) helped adding 19 points. Five Bandirma players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Chris Singleton (206-89, college: FSU, agency: Wasserman) with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Armenian-American center Bryant Dunston (203-86) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bandirma will meet Besiktas (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Anadolu Efes will play against Buyukcekmece (#15) and hope to secure a win.
