Regular Season Round 2: Ternopil-TNEU - DiDiBao 85-46

Rather expected game when DiDiBao (0-2) was crushed on the road by Ternopil-TNEU (2-0) 85-46 on Sunday. Ternopil-TNEU dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to DiDiBao's 20. Ternopil-TNEU forced 21 DiDiBao turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by DiDiBao's players. Guard Mykyta Naiko (197-92) scored 13 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Ivan Dudar (180-98) chipped in 9 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Guard Nikola Polyulyak (192-90) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Vasyl Fedoryak (198-94) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ternopil-TNEU will face Hoverla (#5) in Ivano-Frankivsk in the next round. DiDiBao will play at home against Lutsk Univ. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
