Another exciting game for Tofas (2-0) which played in Ankara against Turk Telekom (1-1). Tofas won 83-78. Tofas forced 29 Turk Telekom turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Turk Telekom was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Ata Atsuren (190-2) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Batin Tuna (196-3) chipped in 13 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five Tofas players scored in double figures. Yigit Ozkan (-1) responded with 30 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Batuhan Acar (-2) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tofas will play against Afyon (#8) in Afyonkarahisar in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Turk Telekom will play on the road against Banvit (#1) in Bandirma to get more than just one victory in their record.
