No shocking result in a game when Arkadia Lions (2-1) beat UBSC Graz (0-3) in Traiskirchen 92-82 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-82. Arkadia Lions made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Arkadia Lions especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Paul Isbetcherian (176-0) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 8 assists. American swingman Shawn Ray (194-80, college: NC Central) accounted for 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Serbian-German forward Andrija Matic (208-96, college: Keiser) came up with 21 points and American guard Anton Beard (183-96, college: Arkansas) added 15 points respectively for UBSC Graz in the defeat. Four Arkadia Lions and five UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. Arkadia Lions will meet Kapfenberg Bulls (#6) on the road in the next round. UBSC Graz will play against Hallmann (#7) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
