Regular Season Round 4: Wolfpack - Randers 67-88
Date: October 16, 2019
Leading Wolfpack (3-3) recorded its third loss in Herlev. Hosts were rolled over by second ranked Randers (6-1) 88-67. The game was mostly controlled by Randers. Wolfpack was better in fourth quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. The winners were led by French center Jonathan Jeanne (218-97, agency: Slash Sports) who scored that evening 18 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Australian guard Rasmus Bach (193-95, college: Fort Lewis) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Randers players scored in double figures. Even 26 points and 4 steals by American guard Javion Blake (190, college: Washburn, agency: Haylett Sports) did not help to save the game for Wolfpack. Montenegrin point guard Danijel Marsenic (188-1) added 11 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Randers have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-1 record having just four point less than leader Horsens IC. Wolfpack at the other side still keeps top place with three games lost. Randers will play against Naestved (#4) at home in the next round. Wolfpack will play against EBAA in Aarhus and hopes to get back on the winning track.
