The game in Kranj was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Maribor (1-3) played at the court of seventh ranked Triglav (2-2). Triglav defeated Maribor 69-57. Maribor was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Triglav dominated on the defensive end, holding Maribor to just 7 points in second quarter. The winners were led by American forward Alexis Burke (180-92, college: Rutgers) who scored that evening 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Yeisy Perez (174-2) supported her with 6 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Even a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds by international power forward Merisa Dautovic (186-99) did not help to save the game for Maribor. Guard Elma Dautovic (177-1) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Triglav moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Konjice. Maribor at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Triglav will have a break next round. Maribor will play at home against the league's second-placed Jezica (#2) and hope to win that game.
