Very predictable result in Bursa where Balikesir (2-0) defeated Gemlik (0-2) 77-65 on Saturday. They outrebounded Gemlik 54-36 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American center Marvin Jefferson (206-86, college: Idaho, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 24 rebounds. The other American import point guard Myles Mack (178-93, college: Rutgers, agency: HMS) chipped in 26 points and 7 assists. American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: Robert Morris) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Murat Esen (195-90) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
