Regular Season Round 3: Pinar Karsiyaka - Gaziantep 75-49

Pinar Karsiyaka used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Gaziantep 75-49 on Saturday night. Pinar Karsiyaka forced 20 Gaziantep turnovers. It was a great evening for Murat Dere (-3) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points. Omer Ayaz (-1) helped adding 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was Huseyin Yilmaz (-2) with 7 points and 14 rebounds and Koray Cekici (-2) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pinar Karsiyaka will face Besiktas (#4) in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gaziantep will play on the road against Darussafaka (#6) in Istanbul and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
