The game in Zaporozhye was also quite interesting. Khimik (4-1) played at the court of Zaporizhye (2-4). Khimik managed to secure a 7-point victory 88-81 on Sunday. Zaporizhye was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 25-14 charge of Khimik, which allowed them to win the game. They made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for guard Isaiah Williams (188-95, college: Georgia St.) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 6 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Lewis Sullivan (201-95, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Brandon Randolph (188-95, college: Utah Valley) answered with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and center Deionte Simmons (205-96, college: Chicago St.) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Zaporizhye. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Khimik will face Mykolaiv (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Zaporizhye will play against Kyiv Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
