No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Braunschweig (3-1) beat at home 11th ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (1-3) 102-88 on Sunday. Braunschweig dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mitteldeutscher BC's 34 and made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Braunschweig looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Mitteldeutscher BC was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for American power forward Scott Eatherton (206-91, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import point guard Trevor Releford (183-91, college: Alabama) contributed with 11 points and 8 assists for the winners. Canadian point guard Kaza Kajami-Keane (185-94, college: Carleton, agency: Interperformances) replied with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian Strahinja Micovic (205-92, agency: BeoBasket) added 15 points in the effort for Mitteldeutscher BC. Five Braunschweig and four Mitteldeutscher BC players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
