Regular Season Round 3: TAC NEF - Besiktas 78-67

TAC NEF used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Istanbul 78-67 on Sunday night. TAC NEF outrebounded Besiktas 57-29 including a 28-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Sezgin Akcinli (-2) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Berkay Civgin (-1) helped adding 12 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was Bora Sunar (-2) with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Umut Ozcan (-2) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. TAC NEF will face Ormanspor (#5) in Ankara in the next round. Besiktas will play at home against Pinar Karsiyaka and hope to win that game.
