Regular Season Round 5: Bernau - Schwelm EN 91-69

Round 5 most important game was a defeat of league's leader SG Schwelmer Baskets (4-1). They were crushed by fifth ranked SSV Lok Bernau (3-2) 91-69 on Sunday night. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SSV Lok Bernau moved-up to fourth place in North, which they share with Rist Wedel and Duesseldorf. SG Schwelmer Baskets at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Speyer who have the same record. SG Schwelmer Baskets will play next round against RSV Eintracht trying to make it back to the top of the standings. SSV Lok Bernau will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked SC Rist Wedel on the road.
