Regular Season Round 3: Siauliu - V.Knasiaus KM 64-77

V.Knasiaus KM delivered the third consecutive victory. This time they beat Siauliu (0-2) 77-64 in Siauliai. It looked good early as Siauliu took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then V.Knasiaus KM had a 27-14 second period charge getting the lead and Siauliu was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-77. They outrebounded Siauliu 47-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for forward Justas Maceikis (198-2) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Center Kornelijus Zikas (201-2) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four V.Knasiaus KM players scored in double figures. Guard Domas Uosis (186-2) answered with 19 points and guard Lukas Uosis (188-2) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Siauliu. V.Knasiaus KM will play against Kretingos SM (#12) in Kretinga in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Siauliu will play on the road against Vilniaus Silputa and hopes to get finally their first victory.
