The game between Top Four teams took place in Telsiu. Third ranked host Telsiai (6-1) defeated second-ranked Silute (6-2) 87-81. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Telsiai shot 60.8 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Telsiai especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Ignas Razutis (185-87) who added 13 points and 6 assists during the contest. American guard Byron Sanford (182-93, college: Trevecca Naz.) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Telsiai have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Silute at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Neptunas-Akv.. Telsiai are looking forward to face Zalgiris II (#5) in Kaunas in the next round. Silute will play at home against Jonava and is hoping to win this game.
