We should mention about the upset which took place in Manisa, where Bandirma Kir. (1-2) lost to Manisa (2-1) in a road game 65-70. Manisa made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Isiah Umipig (183-92, college: Seattle) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 4 assists. Guard Ozgur Sahin (190-93) accounted for 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Manisa players scored in double figures. Albanian Ercan Osmani (206-98) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 19 rebounds and power forward Hakan Sayili (204-0) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Bandirma Kir. in the defeat. Manisa's next round opponent will be Gemlik (#15) in Bursa which should be an easy win for them. Bandirma Kir. will play at home against Samsun (#16) and hope to win that game.
