Regular Season Round 3: Samsun - Mamak 66-73

Very expected game when Samsun (0-3) was defeated at home by Mamak (2-1) 73-66 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Ricky Tarrant (188-93, college: Memphis) who scored 28 points and 6 assists. Nigerian-American power forward Lotanna Nwogbo (203-93, college: Longwood) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Darian Townes (208-84, college: Arkansas) who recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds and guard Cagdas Erdogan (188-88) added 3 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists respectively. Mamak will face Duzce Belediye (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Samsun will play against Bandirma Kir. (#11) in Balikesir and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
