Regular Season Round 6: Schwelm EN - TKS 49ers 84-70

Very expected game when 12th ranked RSV Eintracht (1-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked SG Schwelmer Baskets (5-1) 84-70 on Saturday. SG Schwelmer Baskets dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to RSV Eintracht's 34 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. SG Schwelmer Baskets forced 20 RSV Eintracht turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Bulgarian guard Milen Zahariev (190-92) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: PVAMU) chipped in 4 points, 5 rebounds, 15 assists and 4 steals. Four SG Schwelmer Baskets players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian forward Chukuka Emili (203-96, college: E.New Mexico) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and Mubarak Salami (197-96) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively. SG Schwelmer Baskets keep a position of North leader, which they share with BSW Sixers. RSV Eintracht lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth place with five games lost. SG Schwelmer Baskets will face SparkassenStars (#8) in Bochum in the next round and are hoping to win another game. RSV Eintracht will play at home against SSV Lok Bernau (#6) and hope to win that game.
