Regular Season Round 7: Tuebingen - Uni Baskets 75-77

A very close game took place in Tuebingen between Uni Baskets and Walter Tigers. Fifteenth ranked Uni Baskets (2-4) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Walter Tigers (4-3). Uni Baskets managed to escape with a 2-point win 77-75 on Saturday evening. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Ryan Logan (200-94, college: Stonehill) who led the winners and scored 7 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. His fellow American import guard Kendale McCullum (185-96, college: Lewis) accounted for 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. American point guard Diante Baldwin (180-94, college: UNCG) came up with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and center Enosch Wolf (215-90, college: Connecticut) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Walter Tigers in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Walter Tigers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Uni Baskets moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Schalke and Ehingen. Loser Walter Tigers keep the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Bayer Giants. Uni Baskets will meet at home Rostock (#15) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Walter Tigers will play against Phoenix Hagen (#13) and hope to secure a win.
